|Duchenne smile|

Thanks Indian boy, now i finally know what a genuine smile is =D

A genuine smile is an index of your happiness. So, put in a little more joy in your smile. Reach out to others and give a little more of yourself when you smile next time and the next.

Duchenne smile (after its discoverer Guillaume Duchenne) is genuine. The corners of the mouth turn up and the skin around the corners of your eyes crinkles (the crow's feet). …The other smile, called the Pan American smile (after the flight attendants in television ads for now-defunct airline), is inauthentic."

In Duchenne smile, the facial muscles involved in are difficult to control voluntarily. Therefore, it's difficult to fake a Duchenne smile unless you smile from within.

The Pan American smile is a perfunctory smile. It is nothing but a courtesy smile as in the case of a flight attendant responding to a patron. It's an expression of courtesy and politeness rather than inner joy. Alas, the Pan Am airline is dead but the smile will live forever.

Learn to flash more Duchenne smiles, it makes the world a less superficial one, though one sees a smile from the outside too. So i suppose the smile on my prev post was a combination of both smiles? cos it has the corners of the mouth curling up and yet there's no wrinkles. Wait, what abt babies then? -.-""

Indian boy, rmb this not?

Smile

Never seem to come up with substantial things to write abt,
Let's talk abt... smiles.

How do we differentiate smiles? Whether they are genuine or not, they look almost the same. Just like the picture above. Do you think e smiley is really smiling?

So superficial.

Oh well, i shall continue thinking that the cup is half filled.

[On a side note, i hate mozzies! Stop coming to me for refills in ur blood tanks! I'm gonna charge fees for them >.< ]

|Cant wait cant wait cant wait!!!|

Good evening.

I've begun to accept the fact that i'm more prone to mozzie bites much more than others. Why? you may ask. Numerous examples have pointed to that fact:

1. I can get bites just by standing at the carpark downstairs for abt 1 min.

2. I've just gotten a bite at my ear which is driving me nuts.

3. I get bitten(mine you, it's 2 bites, not one!) outside the LT while waiting to enter the exam venue, while 2 of my friends managed to stand there unscathed.

Yea so if you can imagine...i've got quite a number of mozzie bites (not as if it's sth new). The third point def shows how 'attractive' my blood is to the mozzies. Haix. What if i get bitten by anopheles or aedes? :((((((

Oh well, that's not the main point of my discussion. The point is, TMR"S THE LAST DAY OF CTs!! YAY YAY YAY!! i know know, many others in other schools have ended theirs last week, and might even be tired of playing alr, but...I CANT WAIT!!

I wanna meet HP!!! =DD
OOOooooo....it's abt 24 hrs before my paper ends!! let me fantasize abt it for now...

Ciaos~
