I've just realised that effort is crucial for (almost) everything.
Perhaps with a busy lifestyle, our focus is only on the main task on hand, the rest are just "a waste of time"
I suppose we would then have to take a step back and look at what we are actually doing, how others would react to it. Are we really so tired and busy that we have no time for anything else? Or it's just we're not willing to spend the effort and that subconsciously influenced our decisions??
So maybe we should just learn to lower our expectations and not get caught in the rat race.
